Arrival

By car

Take the Autobahn from Munich to Salzburg, then take the Inzell exit towards Siegsdorf. Drive through Lofer and Saalfelden (left turn) towards  Maria Alm. With this route, you don’t use any Austrian highways and don’t require a national road toll sticker.

Alternatively, you can take the Autobahn from Munich to Salzburg to the Inntal exchange, continue towards Kufstein, drive through Kitzbühel and Mittersell towards Zell am See, then take a right in Saalfelden towards Maria Alm, which is located some 3 miles from Saalfelden.

Drive into Maria Alm until you see the “dorfj@t Natrun” mountain gondola, and you’ve arrived. Sunnsait is located on the left side of the gondola station.

By train

The last train station before Maria Alm is Saalfelden. Take a taxi or bus from Saalfelden to Maria Alm. Train information is available from the ÖBB (Austrian train network) and the DB (German train network).

By plane

The budget airline TUfly offers affordable flights to Salzburg from Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, and Hannover. In the winter, skis fly free and the free baggage allowance is increased.
